Talking about something that is annoying… The constant barrage of anti-Republican and highly political messages here! Don’t get me wrong. I don’t like the GOP… I don’t like Sarah Palin but it would be nice to see basic annoying topics here like…. Shoe laces that never stay tied or the call procedures at the DMV.. I’ve been a member of this site for 6 months and joined because I loved the inane annoyances.. What will the Republicans say now?
USA Today reports
“States have reported using stimulus money to create or save more than 388,000 jobs so far this year, buttressing the Obama administration’s claim that the $787 billion plan has had a significant impact on the economy.”
“That total, based on a USA TODAY review of reports from 33 states and Puerto Rico, includes teachers, construction workers, and others whose jobs were funded by stimulus money awarded to states. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics that calculates the jobless rate number workers must be actively seeking work within the preceding 4 weeks to be counted in that month’s number (9.7% for August). There are approximately 3/4 of a million people who have looked for jobs on ..continue reading
