After Robertson claimed that the people of Haiti got what they deserve for their “pact with the devil” many turned on him.

On his program Don Imus said “You know, I’m not sure whether sometimes I’m ambivalent about whether I support the death penalty or not. I guess I do if I didn’t have to do it, but in his case (Robertson), I’d pull the switch on him myself. I mean he should be put to sleep. How does that contribute anything? It’s insanity.”

During a White House press briefing Robert Gibbs said ”It never ceases to amaze, that in times of amazing human suffering, somebody says something that could be so utterly stupid”.

Keith Olbermann said the following on his show (Countdown) ”Even the worst of us in this political mosh pit of the early 21st century can stop on occasion in grief and human sympathy and mourning, or just in self-preservation.. Not Rush Limbaugh, and not Pat Robertson.”

Along comes Pat Robertson and says:  

“Something happened a long time ago in Haiti and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French. Napoleon the Third and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, “We will serve you if you get us free from the prince.” True story. And so the devil said, “OK, it’s a deal.” They kicked the French out, the Haitians revolted and got themselves free.”

“But ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after the other, desperately poor.”

Pat Robertson has a long history of blaming disasters on various groups. He blamed 9/11 on the ACLU. He said Katrina was sent by God to punish people for their sins.

Robertson is an embarrassment to all compassionate human beings.

According to the Times “New York City officials destroyed tons of new, unworn clothing and footwear last year that had been seized in raids on counterfeit label operations, abandoning a practice of giving knockoff garments to groups that help the needy.”

The “clothing (that was destroyed) includes winter jackets, shirts, pants and underwear.”

“Until last April, the city had turned over some of the seized goods to not-for-profit organizations, including World Vision and the New York City Clothing Bank, which removed labels and defaced the counterfeit trademarks, then distributed the clothing to aid groups across the city.”

“A spokesman for the Police Department said that no one asked for the knockoffs in 2009 —an explanation that was bewildering to the operators of the clothing bank, who run a warehouse that supplies clothing to needy New Yorkers. They said they had made many requests.“

The City is actually paying $150/ton to burn the clothing.

If someone who was responsible for this had spent two minutes looking at what was distributed in 2008 and picked up the phone and called the clothing banks and asked if they wanted the stuff before burning it the City would have saved money and some of the poor would not be freezing this winter.

The latest word is that she will be the key note speaker at the Las Vegas Wine and Liqueur Wholesalers of America convention.

These people must have been drunk when they selected Palin to appear as a keynote speaker or as anything else to “share her analysis”. Palin does not know what the word analysis means.

Why are people paying to hear this fool speak?Don’t they get it. Palin is laughing all the way to the bank. Being paid for pure nonsense. Her next book will probably be “How I Fooled them all”.

The first is that NBC is planning to move Jay Leno back into the night time slot. What that means for Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon is anyone’s guess.

The real news is about the other clown, Sarah Palin. She signed on with Fox News, or fixed news. She will appear as a commentator.

Fox and Palin are made for each other. Both lie and distort the news. Facts are meaningless. 

Tina Fey will have some great material. I hope she will re-consider and bring back the Palin character. 

The latest victim of this is Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader.

In a recently released book, “Game Change”, by Journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, Reid said privately that Obama, as a black candidate, could be successful thanks, in part, to his “light-skinned” appearance and speaking patterns “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.”

Reid, who is facing a tough re-election bid, immediately apologized to President Obama, who accepted the apology without question.

In his apology statement Reid also said

“I sincerely apologize for offending any and all Americans, especially African Americans for my improper comments.”

“I was a proud and enthusiastic supporter of Barack Obama during the campaign and have worked as hard as I can to advance President Obama’s legislative agenda”.

It is difficult to pull your foot out of your mouth once you make this kind of statement.

Steele has come under increase attack by his own side.

After implying that the Republicans are not ready to lead he tried to backtrack by stating “I mean, I didn’t ask for, I didn’t seek this job, I didn’t ask for it.”

And he followed up that lie with “I’m not defined by this job. When this job is over I will go back to doing something else. But God, I really believe, has placed me here for a reasonbecause who else and why else would you do this unless there’s something inside of you that says right now you need to be here to do this?”, during an interview on CBN. 

I predict that Steele will be out as RNC chairman within a month.

The amazing thing is that their lies are so blatant that only someone who has been in a coma for the last 9 years could believe them.

A few days ago Guiliani actually said the following:

“We had no domestic attacks under Bush; we’ve had one under Obama”.

Nice try Rudy. Rudy seems to have conveniently forgotten 9/11 and the shoe bomber, Richard Reid. 

His comments follow those of Dana Perino, former White House Press Secretary, in November when she appeared on FOX and said ”We did not have a terrorist attack on our country during President Bush’s term”. 

In December Mary Matalin, former senior adviser to Vice President Dick Cheney said ”We inherited a recession from President Clinton and we inherited the most tragic attack on our own soil in our nation’s history”. 9/11 occurred 8 months into the Bush administration after he received a briefing that Al Qaeda was planning an attack using airliners. ( I still don’t understand how James Carville can stand this woman).

Do these people really believe that Americans are so stupid as to believe this?

They were scared shit that Palin would screw up the debate with Joe Biden and have a major meltdown.

According to CNN “What was most troubling, according to Schmidt, was the fact Palin repeatedly confounded Biden’s name during the preparation process, referring to the then-Delaware senator as Sen. O’Biden. Aides were so worried that such a mishap in the actual debate would prove catastrophic that they advised her to simply refer to her opponent as “Joe.”"

In an interview that will air on 60 Minutes this weekend Schmidt reveals that “Palin’s debate preparations were going so poorly that campaign aides feared the closely-watched debate could prove to be a “debacle of historic and epic proportions.”

This was to be the next VP and she couldn’t even get Biden’s name right. 

There is a God out there who made sure that the McCain/Palin ticket did not win.

Bloomberg reports that 19 year old Bristol Palin has registered to set up a public relations firm, BSMP LLC.

This twit who has been running around the country preaching abstinence after having a baby with then boyfriend Levi Johnston beleives she is qualified to run a PR firm.

Who would hire her? There are probably enough Palin lovers out there to make sure she doesn’t fail.
