Why do Republicans or for that matter Democrats feel the need to laud their predecessors when everyone knows they were major losers.
Maybe there should be a twist on the saying that if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. For these situations the saying should be don’t say anything nice if its not justified, don’t say anything at all.
Today Lt. Governor Parnell of Alaska (soon to be governor) felt the need to glorify Palin with “as she began to explain why she was doing it, I began to see it was Sarah Palin, once again, moving to put Alaska’s interest first”. And “She’s accomplished more in these two and a half years than most governors accomplish in one or two terms,” he said. “Our governor has been a great governor. She is going to be Alaska’s and is Alaska’s greatest gift to our country“.
Who is this guy kidding? Is he trying to win the biggest kiss-up award of the year? or the dumbest politician of the year?
