President Obama visited Dover Air Force base this week to honor fallen soldiers arriving there.
Liz Cheney speaking on a FOX radio show saw it as nothing more than a photo op.
“I think that what President Bush used to do is do it without the cameras. And I don’t understand sort of showing up with the White House Press Pool with photographers and asking family members if you can take pictures. That’s really hard for me to get my head around…It was a surprising way for the president to choose to do this.”
Of course Cheney is lying as has become the tradition in the Cheney family.
President Obama was the first president to visit fallen soldiers of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars arriving at Dover. Bush did not come to Dover once during his 8 years in the White House to attend arrivals of fallen soldiers.
