Former Republican congressman Tom Tancredo, appearing on the Ed Show yesterday, argued that veterans don’t like their health care under the Veterans Administration and that is why a public option would not work.
Tancredo was confronted by DailyKos founder Markos Moulitsas, who was also a guest on the show. When Tancredo tried to tell Moulitsas that he knew what he was talking about because he spoke with veterans Moulitsas informed him that he was a veteran unlike Tancredo who dodged the draft during the Vietnam war.
Tancredo could not take the heat and walked off the set.
