Besty McCaughey the originator of the death panels lie was on the Daily Show the other night and Jon Stewart showed that she is nothing but a fabricator of nonsense.

You have to wonder what happened to her when you read her background and bio. Is she insane or is her babbling purely about politics.

“Dr. McCaughey is founder and Chairman of the Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths (RID) – a national campaign to support greater infection control in hospitals and other healthcare institutions. Her research on how to prevent infection deaths has been featured on ABC’s Good Morning America, the CBS Morning Show, 20/20, Dateline NBC, and many other national television and radio programs. And her steps that patients can take to help protect themselves from infection was featured recently in the Wall Street Journal.” In 1999, Betsy McCaughey, former lieutenant governor of the state of New York, first joined Hudson ..continue reading

He responded that he wouldn’t if he couldn’t get a majority of Republicans to vote for it. Chuck Todd attempted to clarify what Grassley meant and Grassley again stated “it isn’t a good deal if I can’t sell my product to more Republicans.” Even though it was the good deal that he himself would create with the members of the Finance Committee.

Most already realize that the majority of Republicans are not interested in any health care reform plan. So why is Grassley negotiating ..continue reading

Palin smelling blood moves on to the next item

It appears that Palin and I predicted all the wingnuts and the mobs at the town hall meetings will now move on to the next item on their list related to health care reform.

Senator Grassley of Iowa said yesterday that the Senate Finance Committee decided to remove the end of life provision from its version of the health care reform bill. Palin claimed victory for this because of her “death panel” remarks.

So it appears Palin and others decided to move to the next item on their checklist: health care rationing.

She claims that health care reform will lead to rationing. She says the president wants to enact a rationing system that would “refuse to allocate medical resources to the elderly, the infirm, and the disabled who have less economic potential.”

She quotes Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel White House health care adviser as stating that rationing is required. Again twisting his words as she did with ..continue reading
