The world has turned on Robertson

and that is a good thing. It is time to expose these idiots for what they are.

After Robertson claimed that the people of Haiti got what they deserve for their “pact with the devil” many turned on him.

On his program Don Imus said “You know, I’m not sure whether sometimes I’m ambivalent about whether I support the death penalty or not. I guess I do if I didn’t have to do it, but in his case (Robertson), I’d pull the switch on him myself. I mean he should be put to sleep. How does that contribute anything? It’s insanity.”

During a White House press briefing Robert Gibbs said ”It never ceases to amaze, that in times of amazing human suffering, somebody says something that could be so utterly stupid”.

Keith Olbermann said the following on his show (Countdown) ”Even the worst of us in this political mosh pit of the early 21st century can ..continue reading

and others at FOX.

Last night in his Best Persons in the World segment Keith Olbermann nailed Sean Hannity and others at FOX, as well as Brian Griffiths a Goldman Sachs adviser.

Liz Cheney, like her father, all bull

Liz Cheney’s “Keep America Safe” group is little more than hot air.

Last week she basically called out MSNBC to debate the issues (substance) in a Youtube posting (see below).

Rachel Maddow responded with an invitation to Cheney (Liz) to come on her show and debate the issues. Maddow has been trying for months to get her on the show.

But chicken-shit Cheney decided to take the easy way out by planning an appearance on Sean Hannity’s right wing show (FOX) tonight.

Cheney will be in good company with Hannity. As many may remember Hannity is also big on talk but when challenged he becomes a wallflower. In April he offered to be waterboarded for charity, implying it was not torture. He never followed through. Keith Olbermann offered to make a donation to the families of US troops for every second Hannity could endure the torture. Hannity just pretended he never offered to be waterboarded.

Cheney’s “ad” ..continue reading

Bush the Elder takes on Maddow and Olbermann

I guess Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann have made the big time.

To think that less than 2 years ago Maddow was practically unknown by conservatives and the right wing and yesterday George H.W. Bush called Maddow and Olbermann “sick puppies” for picking on his son and others.

Hypocrisy must be something that is a total unknown to people like the elder Bush and most Republicans/conservatives/right wingers.

Bush the elder must have been living in a cave somewhere for the last 20 years. The rise of powerful voices on the left in the media is only several years old while the right has been doing this for decades.

Maddow had a great piece about this on her show last night. It is long but worth watching.

Obstructionists by design

Placing roadblocks in the way of health care reform has become a full time job for most Republicans and some “blue dog” Democrats.

Keith Olbermann ran a piece on his show earlier this month that clearly states where these obstructionists are coming from and why. It is a few weeks old but certainly worth watching.
